Want One Key to Do More?

Built-in shortcuts only work while Zoom is the active window, and you can’t add new ones. These tools let you pick your own hotkeys:

  • Zoom Glance Bar: big color-coded bars at the top of your screen show if your mic is live, your camera is on, you’re sharing, or the meeting is recording, even when Zoom is behind other windows. Click a bar to mute or turn your camera on or off
  • Device Mute: mute your mic with your own hotkey from any window, even when Zoom is hidden behind something else
  • Prompt Assistant: paste “Running 2 minutes late” or your meeting link into Zoom chat with a hotkey you pick
  • Remote Work Tools for Zoom and Teams: more of our picks for mute, camera and screen share
